Dans l'intégralité de son œuvre, Lucas sculpte un travail d'une richesse et d'une complexité saisissantes, évoquant un tourbillon où chaque élément est intimement entrelacé. Son processus artistique incarne une harmonie entre une réflexion méthodique et des gestes naïfs. Ses créations sont le reflet singulier de son quotidien, de ses observations intimes. Peindre se transforme en une confrontation avec ses émotions, ses souvenirs. Les histoires de ses toiles prennent forme progressivement au fur et à mesure qu'il dépose les médiums sur la toile, tissant ainsi une narration visuelle captivante. Cette approche immersive et expérientielle transparaît dans chaque tableau, cherchant à captiver le spectateur de manière profonde et personnelle. Son objectif est d'inviter l'observateur à plonger au cœur de l'œuvre, à ressentir l'énergie brute qui l'anime, et à se laisser emporter par le dialogue entre les traits réfléchis et les impulsions spontanées.

Throughout his work, Lucas paints pieces of remarkable richness and complexity, evoking a whirlwind where each element is intimately intertwined. His artistic process embodies a harmony between methodical reflection and spontaneous gestures. His creations are the unique reflection of his daily life and intimate observations. Painting transforms into a confrontation with his emotions and memories. The stories of his canvases gradually take shape as he applies mediums to the canvas, thus weaving a captivating visual narrative. This immersive and experiential approach shines through in each piece, aiming to engage the viewer deeply and personally. His goal is to invite the observer to dive into the heart of the artwork, to feel the raw energy that animates it, and to be carried away by the interplay between deliberate strokes and spontaneous impulses.

Né en 1996 au Saguenay, Lucas Lajoie est un artiste contemporain basé à Montréal. Diplômé en arts visuels de l'université de Sherbrooke, il puise son inspiration dans la culture du Street Art. Sous le pseudonyme "Bunbitos", il crée depuis son studio situé dans le Mile-end.
Issu d'une lignée artistique, Lucas a baigné dès son enfance dans l'univers de l'art grâce à sa mère artiste. Cette immersion précoce a façonné son approche artistique, qu'il a continué de développer tout au long de sa vie. Il a finalement fait le grand saut il y a trois ans pour poursuivre sa passion à plein temps.
Actuellement en résidence artistique à Paris, Lucas prépare sa première exposition solo intitulée "Moment Mirage".

Born in 1996 in Saguenay, Lucas Lajoie is a contemporary artist based in Montreal. Graduated in visual arts from the University of Sherbrooke, he draws his inspiration from Street Art culture. Under the pseudonym "Bunbitos," he creates from his studio located in Mile-end.
Coming from an artistic lineage, Lucas was immersed in the world of art from his childhood thanks to his artist mother. This early immersion shaped his artistic approach, which he continued to develop throughout his life. He finally took the leap three years ago to pursue his passion full-time.
Currently in an artistic residency in Paris, Lucas is preparing his first solo exhibition titled "Moment Mirage."
